Who's ready to go camping?

Well, how about it? I just finished waxing my '83 Sovereign (Carmen O) for the first time since she was stripped, polished and clearcoated a couple of months ago. It is 74 degrees here in NC and I can't wait for our ENCU Rally at Tranter's Creek next weekend. There is a cold front on the way but it will probably be the last for us here. Only two more months before we hit the road for the summer. CA look out here we come!
How about it out there, who else has their baby waxed and ready to go?

Some friends and I are heading up to Kiptopeke State Park on the Eastern Shore next weekend. It will be our first of the year.

Not waxed, though.

Mac, your Sovereign looks gorgeous. The weather here hasn't cooperated sufficiently for us to do our big Spring wash/wax, but we're hoping soon...

Oh my, not even close. Just pulled the carpet and floor tiles, looks like the belly pan has to come off....... Infact every time I go out to the Trade Wind it seems to get disassembled a little bit more

I am so ready....but old man winter hasn't fully lost it's grasp yet here. I tend to dewinterize once we regularly get above freezing. We're almost there!

We are heading to Crescent City KOA for Memorial Day weekend - check out the Redwoods then head to Auburn to camp or do day trips with the grandchildren (5,3 and 2). Then we are going to catch the NorCal Caravan back to Perry.

Ready? Ha, we were ready before the last water dripped out of the lines when we winterized. Spring just won't come! More snow and ice this weekend. Where was all the snow in December when we wanted it? Our first rally is April 19 - 21! Can't wait!

We're ready BUT

The snow has finally completely disappeared from the roof of Bandit and he is all packed and ready to go. Planned departure scheduled for Sunday!

But today a large mud hole that requires 4WD developed just .2 mile beyond our driveway. Road crew will fix it up, but probably not until tomorrow. And another foot of snow is forecast for Friday into Saturday. UGGGH! Been getting acquainted with NOAA weather site and it looks like we could be stuck here until Wednesday.

When we do escape, look for us in northern Ohio, Jackson Center, Springfield, MO, eastern Oklahoma, eastern Texas and Austin, Chattanooga, Winchester, VA and many points between.
