Talking Who or what is looking at you?

I was checking out some old trailer pics and saw this Airfloat. 1946 Airfloat 013104 What is looking out the window behind the door?

My answer: "none of the above"

It looks to me to be a woman resembling Lucille Ball hanging her head and right arm out of the window.

Good try Mr.SilverRanger, wrong window though. It's the side window behind the door on the left side.

I realized that, but there was more room in the front window to enhance a mysterious image.

ok, well i already slipped a hint in post 13 ...

so here is another one...

they pulled it with a convertible (just like in the l.l.t.)

3rd hint, it was neither 'before or after'....

cheers

Thing is... Its not an AIRFLOAT.

Its and Aeroflite, by Aerolines, built at the Van Nuys airport.

Airfloats had the porthole windows.

Don't believe me, check it out for yourself...

ding ding ding!

we have a winner!

and she rides in the trailer while in tow, just like in l.l.t.....

only she starts a fire inside and her new hubby (who looks a little like desi) stops to put it out with a garden hose...

then keeps towing!

now how 'bout some pix of the car and trailer?

the movie has some great interior shots of the trailer and the new (now vintage) furnishings and trim, very cool.

cheers
