Thumbs up Blue Grass Is Awesome!

Another great, in the rock & blues category was the late Duane Allman. He was taken from us way too early at the age of just 24 years old down in Macon, Georgia.
Duane Allman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We still have and enjoy some of his music to this day!

Smile Tough To Be Without

These Two! We had a tube type radio with an 16" Woofer speaker in our Magic Carpet while living in Santa Maria CA back in the early 50s. When Les Paul and Mary Ford sang, they taught me how to dance! you know, pick up my feet and do the California bop!!
And check out the Dog on the sofa with wheels!

Enjoy!

With Love

Oianthi backing up Alice Cooper last night

Last night Orianthi backed up Alice Cooper on stage here in ATL - wow. Of course, this presumes you have an open mind and musical diversity. But Orianthi is just superb!

Guitar music

God I wished I could play like some of these men and women....Love to listen to all music, but can only play the old country and western, and a little CCR.....Have a few old Martin guitars, I play, and a few banjos, I pick as well.....Strickly for my entertainment.....It's hard to pass up some ole Merle Haggard, or George Jones....

Les Paul and Mary Ford REALLY did record at home; he installed a mic over the kitchen sink so she could be singing whilst doing the dishes while he was multi-tracking his tape recording invention in the living room.

Les Paul and Mary Ford were great they were all electriconic. My vote has to go to Chet Aktins he made any guitar acoustic or electric, old or new JUST SING.
My vote for Banjo Picker goes to Bill Knopf Check him out on U TUBE he plays Blue Grass and jazz and tunes from the 1900's . IF you are into pickin he's your man.
