Where/How do your store your Sodastream?
In my 17' trailer, refrigerator and storage space is at a premium. For this reason and for the environment, I want to eliminate purchasing seltzer on the road, and make my own as needed. Since the gas chambers are under compression, I am wondering whether the Sodastream machine can be safely stowed in the trailer, or whether Sodastream users keep the maker in their TV?
If you have come up with a workable way to stow your soda maker either in your trailer or in your TV, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks! Flostream66

We travel w/a Sodastream and 2 bottles.....but we have a 30' Classic and there's only two of us.
I do stow it under the galley sink in a cabinet, along w/the trash, recycle and cleaning supplies.

Hi
It's not going to melt down if stored in the trailer.
The "benefit" of buying carbonated vs plain bottled water is *very* debatable. A lot of us don't drink the campground water ....

For me, the main reason for using the sodastream is to cut down on the amount of recycling (aluminum cans). But for trips, I back off and purchase the cans, then recycle when back home.

Rattan Poodle, thanks for confirming that the machine can be kept in the trailer. I am with you, Bob, about most campground water...I bring my own for drinking and making coffee, and now that I know it can handle trailer quake, the sodastream for seltzer...now, where to stow it!? Thanks!

Hi
Even in a 30' Classic, you don't have room for everything. There are a number of kitchen gizmos we would love to have along but simply can't fit in anyplace. In a 17' you will make a *lot* of decisions ....

When moving mine is stored in the credenza along with the coffee maker in the event there is power. But lately we just boondock so it's just there taking space. But we've sometimes utilize the shower. With some bins or buckets in there you'd be amazed by how much storage there is in there.
