Ahh, that explains it. Never had that LP, but a friend of mine did. Haven't seen him since the twentieth century, either.

Do I need confirmation from Overlander63? Are we officially on the the 1 hour or one day time limit? Should I make it easy or hard?

You are correct. Looks like you get to try to stump us with more lyrics. Looks like I'll have to try harder next time.

That was easy, Kylie Minogoe!

Here is one for everyone-

Got a flip-top pack of cigarettes in her pocket
Feeling good at the top
Shopping in sharp shoes
Walking in the sunshine town feeling very cool
But the butchers and the bakers in the supermarket stores
Getting everything she wants from the supermarket stores

I was merely asking Robin what song she had in her head!
It's her turn and she was thinking about how obscure she should go.
Moreover, I don't know any Kylie Minogue!
But I do know the difference between Apples and Oranges
Syd Barrett R.I.P.

Well of course I know you would get that one! Just trying to muddy the water a little with Kylie, hit the link!

While rgesh is coming up with a stumper I thought I'd share with you a song I can't get out of my head...I had my son download it for the ipod and now he's dancing around the house singing it to! I had know idea who it was by and was almost going to put a post with a "name this tune" Cody did a wonderful thing starting this thread!

It's not Robin on this thread. If you see the : icon it's Richard. She stole my idenity and I never got around to creating a new one.

Syd Barrett?? Sir Douglas Quintet?? Dead?? Gosh, what a crew we have here.

O.K., let's see if I am too out of line here:

I met my baby in a used car lot
A drinkin' cheap wine and a throwin' rocks
Magic on wheels baby you know i got it
Shakin' like loose change here in my pocket

I didn't get this here baby just a choppin' on wood
I got 8 slappin' pistons right here under my hood
Let's ride!

Sounds sorta familiar...
Were you playin' this at the Pumpkin Rally by any chance?
Thoughts of Springsteen keep gettin' in the way
You willing to divulge any clues just yet or are you gonna savor this a little while longer?

No, not at the Pumpkin Rally.

Not Bruce. This one is waaaay out of the mainstream...

I may have to come up with another one soon. It's even tough to think of a clue.

OK...Let's try this one. You have to be pretty deadicated...

There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone.
