What's allowed at most NP & Parks to get around in?
I know you can bring along bikes and I see a few golf carts.
What else can you use like an ATV, small motor bike, Vespa's what is and isn't permitted in general?

National & State Parks
Greetings Bob-
The Nationial Parks are changing the regulations on a park by park basis. You might want to check in March when the new books come out as too what is allowed and not. I know most state parks here in NE don't allow much more than a motor scooter. ATV are a no, no around here in CT.

I agree. Each park might have the standard set of rules, etc, but each park also has it's own things too. Even some state parks can vary widely....

Hi Bob,
All 14 National Parks out west that I've visited allow any street legal vehicle to drive on park roads.
NO off-road travel by ANY vehicles.

Seems to be a trend of off roading vehicles being allowed less and less (ATVs, go carts, minibikes, etc). Not that I think that's a bad thing, just the reality we all see lately.

Generally, anything that is street legal is OK.

Ride
You bet it's OK.
As for off-roading, there are plenty of other places to go ( in California at least ).

I know that nothing motorized can be used off road within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We can't even use ATVs when searching for lost hikers.
