What should the name be...???
Ok, I am bad with names. Never liked giving things names. Use to have a friend that named my cars and such.
I am going to turn this into a contest. I don't know what the prize will be, but it will be something. Maybe a jug of your favorite toilet chemical...lol. (I do RV sales and service) But I am leaving it up to you all to help me with this.
Background on the long silver beast. It is a 76 Sov. I bought it from a guy who wanted it fixed, but couldn't afford it. It sat in the desert for about 14 years open to the elements. He stripped most of the interior out before I got it. Walls were all painted with a bad brush and house paint. (Why do people do such silly things???) Anyway, I am now in the process of damage control and will start building things like the closet, bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms in the next couple of weeks. I will try to get some photos on here as soon as possible.
But for now, just help me out with a name. And if you wish, you can help me out with my bank account. I just ordered a new fridge, furnace, and toilet...lol.
Thanks to all who play!!!

Rat Shack
Duckling (for the ugly duckling who turned into a swan)
Saguaro (surviving the elements in the desert)
Just a few to start!

Howdy Texas!
Guess if it were mine and I knew it was stealing my money as fast as Airstreams do, and I lived in Texas the name would come easy. I would not be ashamed to paint it on both sides as Nose Art: Bauxite Bandito. And now you know the Rest Of The Story!!!! Happy Trails, Ed

The women in your life will like this one...
Your Airstream will most certainly qualify for being “born again”.
In French that is Regenere
Cheers,

HEck, you allready named it in your opening post...Silver Beast! That lack of my vision is probably why I have not named mine yet Just waiting for the name to rise out of the dust
Oh, certainly I can send a large sum of money to help you out...but to pay for the transaction you will need to send me a few gold coins to my Niagerian adress...Did not think that would work
Look forward to the pictures!

How about The Long Silver Beast?
I also like "Phoenix," as in the mythical bird that rises from the ashes.
On edit: I see rmpray already suggested Silver Beast.

Way too much imagination here.
I think that the guy would prefer something simple, yet dignified, like
DAVE
Best of luck with DAVE or whoever he becomes.
Regards,
Brian

Perhaps "Long John Silver" or "Long Jane Silver" (if it is a she) or "The Silver Money Pit" might be appropriate.
