What I'm thankful for...

We just never know what may be coming around the corner for us and this year has had quite a few suprises. But today, I am thankful for:

1. My son safely leaving Iraq today from his second tour. My hope is that he has some turkey in Kuwait tomorrow.

2. My elderly inlaws safely traveling from SC to VA for some family time.

3. Friends that truely care for the how we are standing up to some current "suprises." And,

4. A place like this forum to meet and make new friends.

May the Lord bless you more than you expect during this Thanksgiving season.

I am thankful each and every day I get up and I know I have the freedom to pick and choose what I want to do for the day. I am also thankful for the freedom that our men and women have sacrificed their lives for this freedom.

Let's all be thankful...

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or
reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank
check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount
of 'up to, and including his life.'

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this
country today, who no longer understand that fact.

God Bless America

You know it's real easy to look at the current economic woes, listen to the latest "The Sky Fell Today" headline and get discouraged about how bad things are. But I figure any day spent above ground, being able to enjoy time with my family, and a few new friends on this forum, makes it a great day.

Happy Thanksgiving to All Yall

I'm thankful that I have a job and that I get a couple of days off to spend with family.

I'm thankful for the abundance and blessings that life has to offer...Life is good.
Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!

/Lois

P.S. -- Like Hubby Hank always says, "We don't stop when we're full. We stop when we're tired." So let's eat turkey, y'all!

I'm thankful that my 6 stints seem to be working for now, that my Judi's health is holding it's own right now, and that as I sit here "talking" to ya'll, that my wonderful daughter, grandson and son-in-law are here for a day or so and still blissfully asleep, and that my brother will be here soon for a very rare visit (his first time to see the Airstreams! I'm trying to get him into Airstreams!!) I'm also very thankful for the wonderful friends we have made thru the WBCCI - GStephens, we wish you & Miss Ella a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
