Ways To Express Love

I thought I'd start a thread on what you have done for someone, to say ''I love you'', without saying the actual words. Sometimes the best threads are the ones that show compassion for one another. I use to live in Los Angeles Ca., occasionally I would plan a weekend trip to Las Vegas without her knowledge. On friday when she enter the house, I would give her a envelope with the reservations.... it's amazing how fast a female can pack...under 15 minutes. Please share what you've done for somebody special. I just may borrow your Idea.

Setup DISH in the trailer. She can watch two different channels, on the same satellite, on the lounge and bedroom televisions.

Participating in 24/7 caretaking of a 93 yr old family member whose 93 yr old spouse cannot fathom placing their loved one into a hospice care facility.

When you say "for better or worse in sickness and health" it could encompass far more than you imagine.

Love is spelled many ways.

Thanks for starting this thread. It is a reminder to me to think of some ways, or use ideas found here, to let my wife know how much I love her and appreciate her for the way she puts up with me.

If anyone is in Yosemite during a full moon, they have a moonlit tour of the valley once a month. I proposed at the tunnel view on that tour in May '90. Sharing life's experience with a loved one is priceless. Maybe I should have ''''Andersen'' in the title to show him other ways than carving into a arch to express feelings for one another. What do you guys think?
