Was there ever side baths before the 80's?

I have never seen an original floor plan previous to the 80's with a side bath in either an Argosy or Airstream...was there such a thing? All I have ever seen is rear baths in vintage units. Thanks!

Also some of the 50's models had side wet baths.

Yes, my 1954 Double Door 30' Liner had rear twin beds with a center bath on the street side rear of the streetside kitchen. Pictures at: http://www.tompatterson.com/gallery/album06

Also in some of the 26' Cruisers. You can also see that in RJ Dial's picture archive at VintageAirstream.com.
