Here are mine. The first is all the states I've been too camping various ways (tent, rented motorhome, Airstream). The second on is the "pure" map of places I've been with Sparky only. Can't wait to add more to this map this summer!!

Here are mine. Although, since I just got my Airstream, these are places I've travelled by bicycle, or my old VW Westfalia.

After almost five years of Airstream ownership, here's our whimpy map. This fall we'll add Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.

Thanks to MaxandGeorgia for asking and to Dennis for furnishing the information. I too wondered how to accomplish that.

Okay. I've finally taken the time to follow Yukionna's instructions above. I did, yet, I see no map for my avatar. I assume I have to close out and reopen? Testing. . .

And. . .it showed up on that post No, those are not places we've overnight camped in Gypsy, but places we've have vacationed together. If I start one for just Gypsy, it won't show many states. I'll do that next. Thanks to ALL who helped me out ~G I still think this is a little large, but it's on the post, so I'll rest on that point.

Me too!

thanks to MaxandGeorgia for asking and to Dennis for furnishing the information.

Technically I guess mine should be blank since our "new" '78 Argosy 24D has spent the two nights beside our house but I haven't slept in it yet

It's certainly inspiring to see some of you with so many filled in. I'm surprised I haven't seen a completed map.

Well, I got the five states we camped in this summer filled in. That gives us 10% of the states our first summer. Since Hawaii is out of the question and Alaska not likely for a loooong time, we are well on our way.

However, because of the intended use of our "Changes" it will be a couple of years before we head out west and we plan monthly weekend trips for the most part, so I don't expect many more states to get filled in for a while.

These are so cool. I just spent a gob of time clicking on all the states we've been to see their pillows. Now, do I need a life? Oh, this IS my life! I wish these were kits we could order to embroider for ourselves. That would be a fun vacation rainy day project to have on hand. Thanks for the link. ~G

I had the same thought...perfect project for a long road trip!

They remind me of the old table cloths from the fifties...I have several of those, too bad they are too big to make into pillows ~

Shari

P.S. I'm not saying they aren't worth the asking price, heck I'd charge at least that much if I did all the work, it's just they are too rich fo my millionaire-Airstream-Owner's pocketbook to collect...but I would buy the kits or possibly create my own...hmmmm

Shari, didn't you make the upholstery for Maxwell? Aren't you an interior designer? Don't you own a sewing machine?
Seriously, I've been thinking of a different option. A stained-glass-type window or door ornament, with the non-visited states clear, and the visited states in different colors?
