Time Capsule

I have decided that while I still have access to the bottom of my trailer under the belly skin, I am going to leave the future owner a mini time capsule. I will probably include the following.

*Perhaps a CD of pictures of the restoration.
*A brief history of how I came about getting this trailer.
*The front page of the latest Sunday newspaper.
*A list of all the things that were done to the trailer, including dates.
*A few before and after pictures. (In case they cannot read CD's in the year 2050)

I thought of this while lying on my back looking up at the plywood, where of course I signed my name and the date before putting in the insulation.

If after I leave this earth to visit the big RV Park in the sky, my son decides to sell the trailer, which by then will be a "Super Vintage" Airstream, and the new owner is telepathically communicating with other Airstream owners and discussing frame damage and floor rot, as well as rear end separation, the day he digs in to the underside of the trailer is when he will find it.

Great idea! If you wrap it in tinfoil (sorry, aluminum foil) it should last forever.
Of course by then, they'll be building Spacestreams out of transparent Duraluminum.

Tritanium is my guess. Lower weight, and no one will see you on the can

I think we should all do that....well, in some way,or another, pass along a piece of each of us with our trailer. Unfortunately there aren't any pictures of me in 68, still had 6 years to go.

But hey, that pic is premo!!!

It might keep the mice away....LOL... No offense, jsut kidding.

I came across a time capsule once, well sort of……..

I found a One Hundred dollar bill underneath a piece of carpet once.

The camper appeared to have been sold a few times during the period of time it was hidden there based on the markings on the envelope.

It made my day, needless to say!
