Good luck guys. Life is dynamic and things change, we all understand that. I know many people look for Airstreams in the classifieds so if you decide to sell, place it there and maybe somebody will make you an offer.

"Thinking" of selling sounds to me like you have not fully committed to selling. Is there then hope you may not sell after all?

Still thinking

Yes, we have great pictures but I don,t know how to send them.
We will never stop RVing, but don,t know as yet how. We are selling all our
property in Steamboat so will not need our truck. If our house here in Sun Valley sells we plan on moving to Santa Fe, NM so things are a changing.
Our Bambi is so great,I don,t know if I can part with it. We have sooo much
fun, even dance in it.
The best remark was in Steamboat and a guy on a corner said "OH MY GAWD,
I LOVE,LOVE THAT LITTLE AIRSTREAM"

The dealer where I bought my Quicksilver tells me they get calls every week asking for them. I told them they're not going to get mine!

If you do have to let it go, you'll have no trouble selling it. I can't go anywhere without people ooohing and ahhhing. It's even hard to stop for gas without having to conduct tours. But then that is true for all of our shiny silver Airstreams.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Sorry to hear that your Bambi may have to go. The little Bambis are the only thing in this world that is cuter that a puppy. Good luck.

Well, I wonder if the 3 adults with 3 full sized dogs in a Bambi who stayed at our RV park a couple nights ago would agree?

John

It seems to me with all the change going in your lives you may want to hold on to the one constant you can identify with.

Don’t mind me just thinking out loud. I just hate to see people lose something that actually helped them enjoy life.

Betty, your changes go deep and wide. We hope you are embracing changes by choice, but whatever motivates them, please know that you have forum friends who hope all is well and who also hope you continue on the forum. I've enjoyed your posts, and always think of sheepherder wagons when I see your name Best wishes, ~G

Thanks for your nice thoughts

maxgeorgia, I think of you often and wonder if you have been back to our
beautiful Stanley area. We are leaving today for Santa Fe to house sit for Johns sister who will be going to Europe to watch her son swim the English
channel. It is so gorgeous here hate to leave but it will be lovely in Santa Fe
as well. Still "thinking" of selling little Bambi but oh my heart is sad to think of
it. We have some "feelers" out with a couple local guys so will see. Ta for now and happy Trails, John & Betty

Sometimes lifes changes require sacrifices that are not easy to make. There are things that I've sold in the past that have meant more to me than I realized at the time. The really important things I've ended up replacing and I realize now that I can't really part with them. Sometimes it can be more difficult to find a replacement or make that investment. Sounds like you really love your Bambi. Think hard before parting with something that you really love. Good luck no matter what your decision.
