The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion 2010

It that time once again for the Monterey Historics (errr... I mean the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion ). My GlobeTrotter and I will be camping in the CanAm Circle campsite 85 (along with my brother). If any fellow aluminatics are attending the festivities this weekend, feel free to stop by and say Hi!!!

We will be at the Corkscrew camping area. Since the Caravel is still a work in progress it's most likely we will be in a large white box.

How do you guys score camping sites at the Speedway? I'm super jealous... we seem to pass through every year (except this one)... I'd love to camp there instead!

You have to get on the camping list and then upgrade year after year to get the best site possible. I've been on the list since '05 and I've had this campsite for the past 4 years. It is next to impossible to get one of the track view sites in the hook-up campgrounds (Can-Am and Chaparral), so I just moved sites until I had one with plenty of room. I'll probably hang onto my site for many years to come.

We are in Corkscrew 604. Look for a large with box with one flag, a refrigerator, and a Margaritaville cocktail machine.

Tickets Anyone

We have come up with a family conflict the weekend of the Historic Races. I have a 33' RV spot in the Corkscrew View RV area and two tickets with paddock passes for the entire weekend. I would like to sell them for what we paid, $130 each for the admission and paddock, $200 for the RV spot.
