OK folks, Patrick's Airstream is a classic 270 Motor Home. It looks to be in excellent condition. Nothing unusual, just in really good condition as far as I can see!

Very nice motorhome, I was in it before it was sold to Warner Bros. The former owners are friends of mine.

Yes, there are photos of it in the Portal page right now, of the first episode he used it it. That's the episode of this week.

It looks perfectly original, but in really fine shape. I am jealous!

It seems to fit his persona very well...looking forward to see how often it appears. The character development in this show along with Sons of Anarchy is second to none, maybe they will spin off a hybrid show about sinister folks touring around America in their Airstreams creating havoc wherever they go...oh wait, don't want a Reality show set in a Caravan.

With the knowledge base here could somebody answer if it is true that the old Citroen could ride on three wheels in case of a flat, using the pneumatic system to lift wheel if it had a flat.

He used the couch in the AS for a nap while waiting for partner, much more comfortable than a nap on a police cruiser seat.

Prices should skyrocket for a featured antique. lol

I saw a commercial last night for the season premiere, I believe......and there was an Airstream trailer in it.

I didn't quite catch it, but Lisbon may have gotten it for Patrick Jane.

Looked like it was set up in a wooded area, had a blue stripe and a blue and white awning.

Don't know nothin' about them trailers, but someone here will know what it is.

It's a Motor home. It has been on several previous episodes. Really neat.

There was a bed scene with "you know who" (Lisbon).

Remember the "Guardian", he played a lawyer doing community service for drug conviction. Saw him (Simon Baker) in an interview one time as he sported his Aussie accent.

I'm glad those two got together.

They "get" each other.

Personally, I don't see the chemistry between Patrick and Lisbon. The show was more compelling when they were perpetually chasing his nemesis "Red John". The complexity of his character is what kept me watching, this is their last season but would have thought they could have come up with a more intriguing story line. I will miss Cho, very interesting cat.

My DW watches every episode. I think it's an old Airstream MoHo. I've seen it several times, including tonite. But, I guess you already know that.

Personally, I'm not a fan, but if DW likes it I have to watch it, also.

Several pivotal scenes on The Mentalist have taken place in Jane's Airstream this season - and one episode even featured them (Jane and Lisbon) sitting outside under its awning, with those colorful lantern lights as a birthday surprise.

It's good exposure for Airstream. (if Simon Baker is included in the deal, you're gonna see a run on them)

Saw it this week. Looked like MH for sure. The Airstream looks to be in good shape and the lighting in the shots seemed to capture the feel. It was not like the "set" Which is so bright there are no shadows!

At the end there seemed to be some
"Tension" about his "protection" of the lady Agent.. Don't follow close enough to know names...

It is an AS moho for sure. He drove up in it in the episode I saw a few day ago, and in other episodes previously. It is silver with blue trim, looks maybe 28' in length? But I don't know moho sizes...

Well there was another Episode of the mentalist February 11 and they showed Patrick's airstream several times. Didn't show the inside very well but there were several shots of it parked and also driving. He was even pulled over by a police officer.

Watched "The Mentalist" tonight. Thought there might be a spinoff called "The Psychic", but evidently not. Maybe, the psychic will have a guest appearance on "Resurrection".

I wonder why this is the last season for "The Mentalist"? Anyone have any clues?

I loved Patrick's running away to the Grand Canyon....and sitting on the step of his motorhome with his tea, enjoying the view. It's what we do.

The psychic was an interesting twist, also Patrick-who-sees-and-knows-all discounting him as a fraud.

The psychic seemed dead at the end, wasn't he??, so likely no return as his original self.

And.....a wedding next week. I wonder if they will drive off in the motorhome for their honeymoon.

I will miss this show, but it may be around as re-runs, like so many others, or maybe a spin-off with Cho in charge of the unit. They have allowed Cho to humanize and show some emotion lately.
