The big 500

So we're certainly not anywhere close to the first of the Rivet Masters, I've decided to include my favorite post out of the 500. This will be my first effort at including a link to another thread, so this could be interesting...

http://www.airforums.com/forum...tml#post189475

Based on the Karma that many of you gifted us, it would appear that this was also your favorite post of the 500. For those of you that haven't read this post, the story has its beginnings much earlier in the thread.

Thank you to everyone for the diversity in thought and experience that you bring to the forum! Without this, the forum would be very very boring!

This is becoming a tradition...

Here is #500, preserved for all time, so Airstream forums historians that dig up our server in the year 3000 will know what a "Rivet Master" was:

Interesting Stats?

87 people have read this thread today - "Thank you for your support"

Karma to people who remember the commercial and come up with a clever joke using the product in some way!

35 people - or just over 40% - clicked the link to see my favorite post.

Hit 500 today as well... Have no idea which was best or worst...

Family chose not to honor by throwing any major party... Will probably celebrate in dignified manner with adult beverage...

Second photo gives it away if anyone didn't have a clue to begin with - look close at the sign behind them

That would be Frank and Ed--IIRC, Ed was the one that never talked in any of the commercials.
