Anyone ever read this book by Tom Robbins? I just remembered that I started reading it about 10 years ago ... it was sort of a difficult read for me --- so weird that I lost interest several time. But, the main character pulls an airstream around and refers to it as a silver turkey --- and I think it describes it as such - like someone has made a few "alterations" to the skin to make it resemble a turkey. Funny that I just thought of it as I was working on my blog - which has yet to be posted.....
I have that book, read it years ago. Tom Robbins is one of my favorite authors but after reading one of his books, it is always, "like what the heck was that all about?" I will have to re-read Skinny Legs and All to find that part about the Airstream. I had forgotten all about it.

So, all of his books are like that? I couldn't do another one. I did find it fun reading, but defiantely cocked my head a couple times like a puppy dog and thinking What-the-heck??? The inantimate objects that are actually alive - the fork and the sock. Weird stuff. Thought provoking - maybe.
