Just by coincidence, I stopped by the Tom Mix Memorial yesterday. It is the site where he died driving into a wash where the bridge was washed out. The wash is names after him as well.

Outstanding genre that seems to capture some of the qualities that Americans cherish. Unadulterated right and wrong with straightforward decisions where your life may depend on it and friendship meant support. Things are similar now but there is a lot more esoteric thinking that clouds the simplicity.

Great memories at my age to realize that this may have sculpted some of my moral character. Thanks for the post.
