Frederic,
If you would be coming near Michigan we would be honored to take part in your caravan for a little while.

Lou,

We've never been to Michigan, but it has been on our "to do" list. I might just start out going your way, on the way to North Dakota, then swing up to the Northwest and down the coast, to Big Sur. That sounds like a plan. Thank you for the kind words.

Say the word and we will be there. As long as I know ahead of time I could get four or five more for a caravan through Michigan.
I will give whatever help you need to make this a reality, buddy.

Gotair,

I've dumped many a good tank at Marina Dunes....I used to live at what is left of Fort Ord, in Seaside. It really is a nice RV spot.

Frederic,

Sooooo sorry, this is such a tragedy for a young women, mother & wife. As a registered nurse I see this very infrequently, but when I do I'm sad for days. I always wonder WHY! It's so hard to believe we are here today and gone tomorrow.

I also loss my father Ed on October 14th, so I can feel your pain. It just doesn't seem real! But somehow the AS spirit keeps us all focused on what keeps us all going. We got so many condolences from our Region 1 friends it is unbelieveable. AS people are GREAT!

Enough said, God Bless.

Gail

Gail and Randy,

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be starting a thread titled "Sherri's Cookbook Caravan", probably sometime next month to give folks, who plan on going with me for the whole caravan, time to organize their schedules. The caravan will be open to anyone who wants to come along.

Well today is the two year anniversary of Sherri's passing. I've been thinking non-stop about her today. I remember her smile, her kindness, her compassion towards animals and her great cooking.

I've had the chance to reflect on how precious life is and how we should appreciate what we have and love it to the fullest.

Speaking of which, how many people have Sherri's Cookbook now? How many recipes have you tried?

Two years and therapy, along with Lexapro and Xanax, do a world of good. Life goes on, ya know?

I wanted to say, recently I was emailed Sherri's cookbook. But today was the first day I was able to to move it to get it to open. So many wonderful things to pick and choose for family meals. I never had the chance to know the woman behind the cookbook, but from all I have read on here I just know she was a wonderful person. Shareing her cookbook was a wonderful idea, she truely lives on through a very simple idea that work so well. I hope that time has made it a bit easier to go forward. For those of us who did not know Sherri, thank you for shareing this small part of who she was.

Shawn

Stingray,
For what it's worth (and I hope a lot!), I just caught this bumped thread, too, and my heart broke as I read your first post. Then, as I read through the rest of the thread I felt a bit encouraged because YOU were encouraged. May God's grace and love continue to comfort you and your children through this forum of friends and other sources of His goodness. I'll be praying for your total healing.
