See any good live shows lately?

Hi Streamers,
I just saw a great show.
The tickets were a Christmas gift from my wife, Britt. We went to the Rio theater in Santa Cruz and saw Antsy McClain and The Trailer Park Troubadours. For those who don't know of them, they sing lots of great trailer oriented music like the VAP theme, "Livin' In Aluminum" and "It Ain't Home 'Til You Take The Wheels Off", as well as some critical social commentaries such as "Skinny Women Ain't Hip".
We have a radio station here on the central coast www.kpig.com that actually plays alot of their music so I have the pleasure of hearing them fairly often. I wanted to share the the joy with all of you, and ask what you have been listening to also. Anybody seen a good show lately?
Merry Christmas, Rich

One of the best "live shows" in southern California, is the, Palm Springs Follies.

Palm Springs, CA | The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies

All the performers are senior citizens.

It's always a top notcher.

They have several big name guest performers, during the Follies season.

I took my girlfriend to see Menopause The Musical last year. It was roll on the floor funny.

Jersey Boys in Las Vegas

Wife and I were in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and saw Jersey Boys. She enjoyed it much more than I did. Then again, I'm one to look at the value for the $$$'s spent. It was very expensive (to my way of thinking). This could have contributed to my less than enthusiastic review.

We enjoyed the Mannheim Steamroller group in December. It was fascinating to see the musicians and instruments creating those fantastic sounds. Put us right in the holiday spirit...~G

My most recent was a while back, but it was A Ride With Bob, a musical about Bob Wills by Asleep at the Wheel. A lot of fun, good music followed by a set of other music. A must see for Texas Swing and “Austin Sound” fans.

Jan and I went to ASU last night to see the Lion King. This was one of the best musicals we have seen in a very long time.
