OK, I wish I had thought of this one - the pictures will explain everything - the last one is the view off the "porch". Just what I need.

Nothing to prevent a good lateral force from knocking the legs right from under that setup.

I don't think they thought that far ahead. Looks like some cables were added to solve that issue and anchored to trees, not the best but hey, they tried......
If I knew them I would advise them to add a Hensley Arrow to the setup - I hear that stops all unwanted motion with an RV.

I guess it's those new FEMA height flood regulations that applies to RV/deer stands here on the Mississippi coast. You know, maybe we should get pontoons for our Airstreams.
