Rodelite Travel Trailer
We found an old Rodelite Travel Trailer in mint condition and have been looking to find out more info on Rodelite. Can't find a thing. Google searches only yielded two old & inactive user queries. Have any of you heard of Rodelite Travel Trailers made in Dearborn, MI?

Sorry, never heard of it. It does sound better than a RodeHard Travel Trailer . Are you the new proud owner? Post pics!

Rodelite
You posted a request for info on Rodelite trailer made in Dearborn Michican. I own a Rodelite (1948) !6 Ft. model and have not been able to find out much about their history. I took it to our spring gathering (Tin Can Tourists) at Camp Dearborn in Milford Mi. this year hoping somone there might enlighten me, but no luck. I was wondering if you have found anything about them.

There is a 1957 model listed on Cragslist in Ft Meyer. The owner of that one might have info for you.

I got the Rodelite from a dealer in London, He apparently had it for about 8 years getting from Northern Ontario.
We ocasionaly drive over to Port Bruce and have seen your Sprinter, but not for a while, I guess thats cause you moved. Love those Minis had one in 1963 and drove it to Florida, All 6Ft.4 of me,my wife and luggage, great trip. I realize the newer ones are much different and propably much better as well.

The Rodelite was manufactured by Monson & Sons Trailer Mfg. They started business at the corner of Telegraph Rd and Ann Arbor Trail in Dearborn Heights, Michigan right after WW2. The made two lines of trailers, Playettes and Rodelites. They stopped making trailers around 1960 and became the largest resellers of Avion Trailers in the country for a long time. Avions were similar to the Airstream in construction and made in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Monson & Sons closed down around 1980. I have some pictures of the first Rodelites and maybe even some construction pictures.

Do you have any information on Playettes? I would really like to see what the logo looks like. A friend of mine has a 1957.
Thanks.

any pictures would be great. I got a super dog (1954) Rodelite off a front lawn and I'm doing some restoration (total) on it and need to know what it used to look like
Anything will help.

had a 68 Mini with a 1098 copper in it. Best ever. Finally blew the engine. Worst auto I ever worked on. But I still miss it.
Anything on the Roadlite would help.
