Renting out our AS & TV while in Australia

We are planning a trip to Australia (March - July/August 2016) & debating whether to sell the AS or rent the whole rig to a couple (European?) for 6 months or sell the AS & store the GMC 1500.
Any experience or ideas. I know most owners would not want to rent their 'home', but my wife wants to upgrade to a 25', so plan to get a newer AS when we return, IF we decide to continue full timing.

You might want to do research on getting insurance for the AS and tow vehicle if you rent them out. Coverage for damage for both and liability coverage for you. Would be interesting to hear what that would cost. Your current policy probably excludes non-owners use.
