Not to go all political or anything, but have you ever read the founding fathers speeches? Those guys wrote that stuff themselves! I really think that's where we're messing up today. If you can't write your own speech, are you really smart enough to run the country?

We rarely ever get on the road when we say we will. We have to tomorrow, we have to meet someone at a set time... It's usually me though, and not the Mrs. In my head I'm always only five minutes from ready to go. In reality, it's like two hours.
Man, six kids! That's going to be awesome when they all have kids of their own. My mother was one of nine, and family get togethers were cousin-paloozas. We had so much fun...

Yeah, every time we swear to ourselves that we'll be on the road by 9:00am, it's really a lot more like 2:00pm. Honestly though, I don't care too much unless I've put myself in a "park in the dark" situation. I really hate that, mostly because backing up is still kind of a production for us.

Park in the dark... I haven't done that to myself, yet. Years of backing a boat down ramps has me pretty confident in my backing ability. It was always fun to sit at the boat ramp and watch the new guys. Campers are a lot nicer than boaters though. I never saw another boater (including me) try to help someone back in, but I've had plenty of people spot me while backing my camper...
-Red, still loading...

Friend of the family did that with his new Chevrolet... Not pretty. Also, not sober...
-Red, prefers backing backwards...

I mentioned that, tongue in cheek, because he thought so much of himself that he gave the Queen of England a disk of his speeches when he met her back in term one.
Obviously, Red, you are 100% right on your summation of speech writing and runing the country. The answer, of course is a resounding NO.

-He was telling a friend over a telephone call how BIG a fish he had caught! -He broke the glass as he reached out his arms to demonstrate how big the fish was, this cut him.
-The fishing rod was mentioned without mention of the 'BIG fish'.
Therefore he died of lying.

Can you imagine giving the Queen of England an iPod full of your own speeches? That's just freaking weird...
-Red, loading an iPod for Her Majesty as he types...

Ok, just Googled it. It was only a convention speech, and his inaugural address, and a bunch of pictures and video of the Queen's visit to the White House... And some music. So, I guess that's not as bad as it originally sounded. Although, I'm sure the Queen has somebody that might just follow her around and take pictures of her already... I'm not a big fan of the President, but I have to give him a pass on this one.
-Red, back pedaling...

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
Very good observation about the "lying." I was at a party when this was flung to us. They did not mention the fish either.

Msmoto, see above. Congratulations to cwf.
BTW, I saw that movie. Even though I like "the dark side," it did creep me out.

Random Thoughts
If you do, I'll ask what size fins to put on it and what is the right sized submarine to be towed by it.

39*f there is like 3*c here
Today, with the windchill, my -29 felt like your -20.2. Metric is a pain in the calculator. Here in Canada, on the weather channel, they give everything in metric except-- the cloud cover is given in feet-- ie: 2400 foot ceiling.
try to get the gas mileage using metric liters per 100 km
Oh, my gas at the pumps today is $0.94.4 per ltr. What's you gas per gal?
