We need more CO2 pronto to counter the impending ice age!

Do your humanitarian duty, make as much CO2 as possible, as if it really makes a difference...

It wont, but you will feel better about yourself!

I don't know about CO2, but I'm producing my share of methane...

Can you adapt a gas BBQ grill to use methane? What type of regulator is needed?

Hi, what in the world are you talking about???????? How many people are there out there towing any Airstream while getting better than 20 MPG ??????? You just called everyone selfish. What about you?????? I think you should look in a mirror.

You haven't read Thomsons posts over the years? The evidence is there. It isn't a challenge to be over 20. Plenty of others have already done it.

And had you read BAs comment about the sheer size of the unit seen, maybe you'd get it about sacrificing fuel economy for comfort that most of us do. Just because one hauls an Airstream is no guarantee of fuel efficiency. My comfort trumps the pollution shared by all.

It's easy point the finger.

And some rigs do better in footprint than others based on NOT just fuel mileage is the other aspect.

A small rig may have not only higher up front costs, but extra costs associated with re supply that ironically favors a large used vehicle combined rig.

Size can be deceptive.

Which, IMHO, supersedes any and all green/sustainable/carbon friendly ratings anywhere- when you look at the totality of the situation (including MPG per passenger).

A family of 8 living out of a 30' trailer, and all the significantly reduced 'footprint' that entails... I could be getting 5 gallons to the mile, and still be 'cleaner' than the average home-dwelling consumer.

This is correct. And trump every other travel trailer of any type with fewer occupants.

A few tents, a screened room, and the RV is the all weather base of operations for a crowd.

Many ways to reduce footprint if wanted.

When you figure in MPG per passenger even public transit is dirtier than sin because they almost never run at capacity except during rush hour.

As long as this thread stays random enough to immunize itself against "your TV will kill children kittens and grannies, while mine will tow anything anywhere," I'm good.

Let's all turn our faces into the wind and get the latest breeze on the retail potential of methane powered BBQ grills, adapters and regulators.

Yours truly,
- clearly in need of a methane regulator to control emissions, as with great power comes great responsibility

I started drawing up the dual ball valve long stemmed methane regulator on the CAD system at work... Sent the print job to the secretary's printer by mistake.
