Been foggy all day at Ft Pickens... Very foggy. So, I'm forced to sit here in my shorts and flip flops drinking a Corona in the fog. Miserable life, but somebody has to do it...

I feel so bad for you. I wish there was something I could say to raise your spirits, but the Corona will probably do that for you.

Actually, it's not bad up here. Yesterday was 70, and today was in the high 60s. Not quite Florida weather, but I'll take all of it I can get.

Monday I'm heading down to Okochobee. Come on over and chase pigs and gators with us.

Yep, and my last name spelled backwards is 'murk'. Makes sense if you know me well.

Rich, covering the ground again, in the clouds.

People get really upset whey they are texting and the light turns green and still texting and you unload a train horn on them. I don't understand whats not to like, I mean the act is so enjoyable.

Hi, I would love to have a train horn on my F-150, but I don't think my wife would.

When I was stationed at El Toro in SoCal a buddy had a very hi tech PA system installed in his HippyVan. He was very good at sound effects and had the diesel train horn nailed, he also had a recording of a high speed rail crossing.
We thought it very amusing to turn on the lights at midnight in many a small town with no tracks within 5 miles.
Pull over park at the curb and watch them all come out and look for the train.

Screeching tires & crash sounds when the light turned green also got the inattentive driver in front of you woked up real good.

For those still "chilling" out.

Years ago at the flight service station (pilot weather briefing facility) in Pellston, Michigan, there was a very unique cartoon.

A chap is walking into a flight service station with a snow shovel over his shoulder. The weather briefers are looking at him.

The caption he is uttering:

"Just for your information, I just finished shoveling six inches of fair and clear!"

Good luck watching the snow and ice melting.

Yes but the 6 yr old in you would love it.

To be honest I don't actually blast at people sitting at a green light texting, that would be pretty rude to others around. I have reserved it for the truly moronic who do dangerous things.

.... and tunnels, of course. Duh. I did say 6yr old right.
