....I knew from our PM's that you both had discussed this....and for everyone who has followed this sorrowful and heartbreaking situation, please have a conversation with your loved ones....just as Doug and Maggie did. They will be forever grateful. Maggie, you will continue to be in my prayers and I'll be waiting for instructions on a memorial -- as you suggest. Love, Barry

Maggie,
I am SO sorry for your loss. I know that nothing I can say will ease your pain.
I did not know you and Doug personally, but felt as though I did through your postings and adventures here. Roseann and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time we pray that the Lord will bring you peace. Amen.

Heart breaking news, I'm so sorry for your loss, Maggie. Way back when I joined this forum you were one of the first to welcome me and I've always enjoyed your posts. This is a sad day for the Airstreaming community and I hope we can do something in Doug's memory.

Maggie, as I wipe the tears from my check I hope that he who comforts me is with you. Please know how much a total stranger was praying and thinking of you and Doug. Maggie, I am so sorry this happened. You have our numbers if you can think of anything we can do.
For those who never met Doug, I knew we had a photo of him from the Highland Haven rally. He was a really great guy, and I know we will all miss him. Touring Dan took the photo, I don't think he'd mind my reposting it:
