Haven’t tried fig newtons with that family of beverages but can see how that might be pleasant.

Oreos and bourbon? No. I’m sorry. As the Monty Python team might say, that is RIGHT OUT!

In that family - the best I’ve had is a Pappy Van Winkle - both the 18 and the 23 and thought the 18 was outstanding - the 23 was a bit jet fuelish...

Again - way too spendy for a casual sip if you can even find it anymore. Faves here are Woodford Reserve or the Knob Creek Rye which is very snappy and bright and great with a good ginger ale or ginger beer. But Oreos? No. Simply no. One must draw a line somewhere and here, sir, is where I draw mine! [emoji3]

Where is your sense of adventure man! Line in sand means nothing! I was sorta expecting the Picard line. "They stop here, no further!"

I discovered Woodford about a year ago. A friend "gave" me a bottle. I got maybe two shots.....the room got the rest...in one evening, no less. Nice, very nice.

Guess what I got for Christmas?

Wait - help me with the rules here. If o answer your question, am I remaining on topic? And if so, is that a travesty in and of itself?

I need a Woodford and an Oreo - STAT.

Hands up this is a high jacking

Hand up this is a high jacking. NO we are not going to Cuba.

Why did the Government say you don't need a mask to keep out the virus, because they don't work and now are crying that we don;t have enough for our first responders?

Think I have to much time on my hands now that I am sitting at home with no work and this is all I have till the virus find me.
Never mind you can trust the Government to save us,ask any Native American.( Navajo,Cherokee,Apache. )

Did someone say beer? It’s got an Airstream on the can! How could I not buy it? It’s pretty good too.

Maggie, Publix Liquor here in FL is open and If you call, will bag up an order for you. Call from the parking lot and they might let you drive up and pick up. Then you come in with cash or card and pick it up. Not their "policy" but sales ARE off and of course it is needed "for sanitary and medical purposes".

Planning a party Easter Monday (God willing and the resort stays healthy) bottles on the porch, bring your own glass and ice, use my paper towels to select booze and some select mixers, then sit in golf carts 6 feet apart and sterilize your mouth and throat. Golf cart races will be discouraged.

Thanks, Paula.

I was joking, really.

Our large grocers here have a liquor section, but I plan to limit trips out at this pint to no more than once a week.

The county we live in has ordered all non-essential businesses to close. Still open:

Gas stations
Grocery stores
Restaurants (take out only)
Liquor stores. Almost makes you think all is right in the world, doesn't it?

Many years ago in Kentucky we had the "blue laws", restricting what could be sold on Sundays. There was a cartoon, Hugh Haynie I think, that showed a mother with baby in arms, standing at the checkout. There were several cans of baby formula on the counter and the caption for the checkout clerk was..."Sorry ma'am, can't sell formula on Sunday. How about a 6-pack to hold the feller over to Monday?" In Kentucky, liquor is essential.

My local liquoroligist delivers so I placed an order last week before my state kicked everything down. He came delivering the goods wearing gloves - I had mine on to receive them. And I told him I was sorry he had to close down and wished him well. He told me he was an essential business and I thought — damn right you are! [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]

I saw another thread about a person building their own "Clipper" trailer. Not rebuilding or refurbishing but building it from scratch. It's likely to be much better than the original or anything that's been remodeled. So rather than hijack that thread I came over here to make my comments...

We met a guy a few years ago at a WBCCI rally and he had built his own Airstream. He's a member of the Denver Colorado Airstream Club. Well, I guess it's not really an Airstream because Wally Byam nor any of his companies made it. It's a totally unique, purpose built trailer that looks just like a 1962 Airstream. The builder refers to it as a Vinstream. Take a look at the Facebook page and Instagram. There's probably another thread on Air Forums but thought it was worth a mention.

I really want to try the Buffalo Trace, but can't find it around here. One store had it but I fooled around and didn't buy. We only have three liquor stores in the entire county.

Thanks to all who contributed new brands for me to search out. I have to get to work.

Hah, it was a trap and you fell into it by asking the question. Hah, hah, hah!

Zippy the Pinhead and Zerbina would understand.

Does anyone remember how this thread started? Posts were being deleted for being “off topic” and this was a reaction.

Hi there - we've noticed that the length (number of lines) in your signature has been creeping. Premium/supporting members may have 4 signature lines (including Blank lines). Thanks for understanding .....🥴
