Didn't emails containing the "Love" virus have the subject "Hi" or "Hello"? I would certainly move an email like that to my spam folder (if it wasn't already there) before opening it. If I knew the sender I would ask them not to do that because of that virus.

I always forget I even have a spam folder. (G-Mail). I should look in it once in a while. I might be missing out on some really good deals, or maybe a fantastic stock tip that would make me rich.
We are going into the 90s this week in Missouri. Really makes me want to hook up the AS and head for the mountains.

All that and plenty of medical advice/pills/devices for men and women!

High! We in Colorado are always high. I live at 6,900' for example.

Sure do miss the Breakfast Club thread. I guess the vacuum cleaner is broken.

. . . so does that mean that this a High Jack, Jack?

Yes, also sorry about the broken vac, Jack, did you hit the road and go camping, or was that plan hijacked?

We hit the road jack, not high but low descending into Utah to see the Green River be green and wet. Could have used the river to clean our threads, but we evacuated before they were dirty.

Drove back not at Utah’s 80 mph—sort of like flying at night without light—and drove a comfortable 63.

Three nights at Green River State Park with no contact with anyone and quiet days watching water flow naturally without any modifications but an occasional tree branch going harmlessly with the flow.

I can't imagine that you have had any enemies, but if you had had one, would you have seen him float by?

Gene,

We must have grown up together in different cities.

63mph the 'Burbs' sweet spot and SWMBO's comfort limit.

Pat,

Perhaps those "tree branches" were enemies? Ever walk into a branch? They hurt, especially my self regard since I hope no one ever sees me do such a dumb thing.

Bob,

My selection of 63 mph is based on the Nash kills any pretense I had a decent gas mileage plus my impatience while driving with speed limits of 75 (Colorado) or 80 mph (Utah). I probably would save on gas if I drove 55, but I just can't.

P&P had a hit single in 1956. One later became a druggie, so their teenage cuteness didn't last. I never had a hit single though long ago I hit on singles.

Now in Bluff, Utah, for two weeks. Saw very few masks when we drove through Moab, lots of tourists, but further south motels seemed closed or pretty much empty. Many more people at some RV CG's, but this one is pretty empty. We are pretty far from the bigger citrus and the Navajo Rez., is across the San Juan River and to the east. Our favorite restaurant here has tables out on the porches of the restaurant and trading post, so we'll go there in the morning.

Please Hijack This Thread...

Gene, I sometimes believe the Common Sense Band broke up the same way.

Especially here in the People’s Republic of California...they’re all over the beaches again...nary a mask in sight.

Nice new column, Gene.

Good to hear of some "Happy Trails" opening up again.

The last paragraph is sobering, though . . . IMO.

Thanks Peter. It was briefly 106˚ this afternoon in Bluff, Utah. Great to be out of town, too hot. We would never have come here in June, but had to delay because of Covid-19. Best time is usually in spring or fall. Not been looking at Forum much since favorite threads disappear. Dull forum.

I recommend the F350, w/center bad, screw the gas or diesel. Go fo the propane/kerosene hybrid engine. And to another option is the 3 wheel model so the stone wheel expense will be lower. The AS will have more towing ability then the truck no matter which Ford you get anyway. LOL

Why oh why hasn't the Covid-19 epidemic brought back the (spelling) Flobee? Flowbie? A hair trimmer that attaches to a vacuum cleaner hose and supposedly let's you choose how long the hair should be when it is held out straight by the suction before it is cut. I cut my own hair today.. it is barely adequate, but at least I no longer resemble an Old English Sheepdog.
And it will dry faster. Sadly I just grabbed a new towel to dry it - Never use a new Turkish towel without washing and blow drying it. Lint everywhere. Second rinse and air dry.

My two cents ...

I’ll be flying into Montana next week for an all woman’s welding camp. A little scary getting on a plane during a pandemic. But while you are here check out our shell transfer of our 1948 Airstream Liner ...

And ya might as well take a look at our entire restoration thread to date ...

Enjoy!!’
