Photographers using Airstreams

Are there any professional photographers using Airstreams as part of their business on these forums?

Did they check with marketing first to be sure that use was approved?

I think he means using the Airstream itself...not merely taking pictures of them

Clarification

I did mean using the Airstream itself. No picture of IT. We are in the process of purchasing two more new units that are going to be customized by Airstream themselves.

I was just wondering if anyone had any good examples of how they used it in their business.

I don't want to get anywhere near the Trademark discussion that is already going on in other forums.

Brud.

I have used my 19' AS CCD on location photoshoots on a few occasions and hope to do alot more as demand for this situation comes up. I have only had my CCD for one year.

Most of my work is location, so I use the AS as a place where my clients and I can review work on my Powerbook and discuss ideas and so on and not be disturbed. I have not altered (yet) the general layout of the coach, as it has been working out pretty well, although it can get tight with more than three people in there.

The AS can serve as a changing area for models/talent as well, so they don't have tto go into the thorn bushes to change.

I carry around a Honda eu2000 generator to use to power my smaller Speedotron light kits, and this works out well too.

Any other ???

Best wishes.

Jonathan

I use my AS as an occasional "tour bus" for playing music gigs. It carries a small band and all the gear in style. After a lot of years on the road in mh prior life I like sleeping to the sound of an Onan.

I fugured this thread was about people taking pictures with AS in them. I plan to have the Caravel included in our next family picture
