Photo posting site

I need some help.

What I want to do is have an "East Coast VAC Rally" photo posting site. One were everyone coming to the rally can post their photos taken while coming to/while at/and going home from the rally. I went out to "Flickr" but not sure if that's what I need and how to set it up so "everyone" can post their photos. I'm more that willing to pay the 24.95 for the "you get everything and it's brother package" because I could see going over the free 100mb limit. The upgrade also allows you to post video which could be cool.

Can someone help me set this up? It does not have to be Flickr, if you know of a better place. My thought would be, the login/password could be posted on the "East Coast VAC Rally Sign Up" thread.

well that is one option...

i almost never go through the efforts to see the pix...

IF a 'log in' is required, but others may not see this as an obstacle...

there are LOTS of photo sharing sites (google them) and many that are easier to use/enjoy than f-r...

seems we've had a thread or 2 on the virtues of various pix sharing sites...

OR you ask a mod to CLOSE the 'pre rally thread' once the event starts,

and open a NEW during/after rally thread and direct folks to post their photos here...

many of the rally threads have pages of great pix done this way...

of course they need to 'members' here to do that.

another option is to ask rally go-ers to share their pix directly with YOU, via cd/dvd/flash card....

then put them up yourself, all, many or just the best ones...

with flickr, each person who posts photos would need to sign up for a flickr account and then they each tag their photos with "East Coast VAC Rally"

the tag feature collects them into a set

It has a free version.
It has a "Group Albums" feature that would do what you want.
