Nyah nyah
I just met Brunoffrance in PERSON, he came over to my house with his lovely wife, and we discussed various activities to do here in Northern CA; I pointed him to the correct location of Maverick's Surf Contest in Half Moon Bay, the wine country (he says they all drink California wine in France! French stuff is too pricey!), North Beach, Alcatraz, Sacramento and Reno/Lake Tahoe.
The topper...drum roll please...I got a bottle of Champagne, yes the real stuff, for New Year's Eve. Yessss...
That "wooooooop" sound was my cool factor going way up!

Geez, I knew an appearance on "The Vap" would make a person famous, but you got 'em from other continents! Good on 'ya for showing those folks a nice time. I'll bet you've made a couple of friends for life.
(That was you and Alansd on the VAP a couple of weeks ago, wasn't it?)

Just more proof that this forum is one big slightly odd family.
Will Bruno be heading to SoCal? If so I'd like to hand him a few license plates.

Hey BigEd, yeah if you know me I'll accidentally smash a window with that bottle. We're going to go ahead and pop it open New Year's Eve.
AlanSD; email the VAP and get what's rightfully yours!
GoinCampin; Bruno said he'd visited Southern California on a previous trip and wanted to see this part of the state, so you probably won't see him this time around. However if you whine and ask why pinkflamingoes got the benefit of seeing him and when is he going to come down south again, he just might make the trip.
His eyebrows went way up when he saw the amount of work we have ahead of us on the trailer. Most of our house remodel is done now though, so maybe we can now start going broke on the TW.

Ingrid, you should of sent Bruno a little south of you, he would have enjoyed the fine French collection of automobiles my friends and I have. He has commented on them through previous PM's.

Champagne Bottle
Ingrid, That was really why I reconsidered the christening/launch bottle thing! LOL! After all we don't want any more problems with the infamous window curse! LOL! Ed

I did!
I did! He might make it down there, I told him to visit the Monterey/Carmel area and he said he might do that if he had the time. Keep your eyes open for a French guy with a leather jacket and a scarf!

Hi ingrid and the Community;
Thank you , one more time for all you friendly posts; i think it's normal that when you have gotten a "rendez-vous" with someone via the web, without seing him/her before, a significative present is welcome; From FRANCE, champagne is something that all people love.
next month, we'll go in Florida, Daytona exactly to get married there during the bike's week ( 2/11 march ). I've proposed Leila on the Golden gate, on dec, 28th....
You can see the pictures on my blog ( the link is under ).
May be other member to meet there ?
Bruno.

Hey Bruno,
Looks like your having a great time in the O'l USA, really enjoyed the pictures.
Too bad that you missed Santa Cruz, surf is much better than in Venice.
Lots of Harleys also.
