No Argosy art!

I have noticed lots of Airstream art, paintings, fun souvenir" thingies, lots of great things for Airstream owners. Which is fine and dandy, but there is NOTHING for Argosy Airstreams. No paintings, no charms, no models, no teeshirts, no toys. I have spent hours on the net looking.....but nothing! I am gonna have to get out my paints and stuff and make my own! All you Airstream artists out there, get out your easels and get busy! You're neglecting us!

Airstream sells a Argosy t-shirt - or at least they used to. I'm at Jackson Center now and will be happy to check on Monday.

I think I'm going to paint one. If it turns out well, I may make some more. I'm not new to hand-painting t-shirts, or painting for that matter, and I might even cast a tiny Argosy charm. We'll see. I could also turn silver Airstream charms into Argosies with a bit of enamel paint made for just that sort of thing. I know I am going to do an Argosy painting for the trailer.

There isn't anything Argosy in Airstream's on-line store. No coffee mugs, no nothing.

Who knows what I can come up with? Painting a few mugs, maybe too. A Christmas ornament.

i believe i saw an argosy china plate, in the argosy section of this forum...does that count. i really like your idea of just painting over the silver airstream charms, that kinda what an argosy is anyways.

A plate would count, if you could actually find one. Argosy things are mighty scarce out there.

We would love to see an Argosy t-shirt!! We could not find anything directly related to the Argosy trailers either, so made do with a great etched picture that an artist did, using her AS trailer a the model. I liked it because it was etched w/colors rather than being silver painted (as AS trailer would be) so it made it seem more like an Argosy. I have not seen anything by her for awhile, altho she did have a website. Here is the one we got -

I'm gonna work on some designs! I have an Argosy to use as a model, lol! When I get one done I'll post a picture. I did do a needlepoint pillow already.

Yup, good products are all about seeing an unmet demand... and filling it, right?

Oh, and an iconic image never hurts...

The Airstream Store has both t-shirts and hats. The t-shirts are brown and have "Argosy, By Airstream" on the front. No picture. Price is $16.95 and they currently have S/M/XL in stock. The hat is a stone color and says Argosy - price is $17.95 - and it is a one size fits most.

Thanks for checking for me. I think I want a t-shirt with a picture tho, guess I will have to paint my Argosy on one! The hat is a little pricey........I know I can't get Jim to buy that!

Reminds me of a very popular T-Shirt, black and white photo on beige background. Pictured, a leathered cowboy, quite soused, clinging to his beloved horse. "Designated Driver"... you could take that to a whole new level!

I used my Argosy as a model. If I am going to paint a different one, I need another model.
