New 'Streamer

Our baby arrived today- Emma Lynn, 8 lbs. 2 oz, and 21 inches long. She is beautiful!

I can't wait to get her out in the Airstream (when it is finished!!) and share the wonder of this beautiful country with her- the way my parents did for me!

This Summer all three of us will fit in the 13' Scotty for our Adirondack vacation. Next Summer? Well, I will just have to get the Bambi II finished!!

Cheers- Ben and Lynn

I hate when I get mushy. But my best accomplishment in life is 4 great kids, and for a bonus, 5 great grandkids. Life is good. Congratulations on the baby girl. Sal.

Congrats. on your new airstreamer. We went camping with our kids and they were able to see most of the country. In high school their friends were amazed by some of the places that they had been to and seen in person.

Fantastic! I'm wishing your family all of the very best. Camping with your family is one of the best gifts you can ever give! Congrats!

You have begun the next exciting part of your life. My folks had a camping trailer back when (1938) I, then my brother, were born and the summers on the beach on Lake Huron are my most memorable. Our children experience(d) the same memories with my wife and I and now our grandchildren join us when they can, even to AS Rallies. We are new great grandparents and when she is a little older she will join us too. Congratulations to you.

Ah, these are the types of memories I always wished for. But, sadly I didn't get to experience them as a kid. It also didn't work out for me to have children, so I will have to bring the "fur"kids along on my adventures. I do find the camping families fascinating, though, so don't be surprised if you find me watching in awe and wonder-ment of it all :-)
Congratulations
Rae

Yeah, if you happen to camp next to us.....come on over and share the campfire. Then when the kids start getting 'tired' just excuse yourself and go back to your rig. That's kinda like being a grandparent.

Congratulations Ben

All this reminds me of when we found this Excella 500. It was almost new and had lost an encounter with a falling tree in an ice storm. My wife was pregnant with our son but she helped with the rivets for the exterior metal. She was on the inside, of course. We finished rebuilding the trailer and just had time to outfit it and try it out before our son was born in October. In November the three of us went camping in the Excella. He grew up camping in it and needless to say it played a very important part in our lives.

Looks like your family and your Bambi II are kinda on the same road.

The best of luck

Ralph
