New motorhome?
I saw in a treath that Airstream will built a new motorhome! i search on google and find nothing. Some one have some info?????

The last motorhome rumor I heard was that Airstream was getting GM to reproduce the 4104 bus with Duramax/Allison and put an Airstream interior in it.

I saw a picture not long ago of the new Airstream motorhome concept drawing. I should have bookmarked it, when i tried to find it again i couldnt. I thought it was really beautiful. I think the date on the concept drawing i saw was at least five, maybe even 10 yrs old. I just did a search a couple days ago to try and find it again with no luck.

I am not that impressed with this proposal for another oversized box on a van style chassis. I would probably be more thrilled with the re-introduction of the big 'Class A', with quality Aluminum and other modern materials, that is designed to driven long distances and includes all the comforts of home. I agree the idea of rebuilding the GM4104 with modern technology, might be a good place to start from, and I think Airstream came close to doing that back in 1995 when they first entered the Premium Class A market with the, raised rail chassis on the, AIRSTREAM CLIPPER.

I never did see a date associated with that concept drawing, i was assuming it may be years old for some reason. It is captioned as Airstream Land Yacht but ive not heard or read anything to indicate that it was a serious endeavour. I thought it was kinda cool looking though.

There is a similar concept drawing in the book Wanderlust, Airstream at 75.
When was that book published? 2007?
