New Airstreamers arrived today...
... Our 2 year old Scottish Terrier delivered 5 puppies by cesarean section today! Mom (Mattie) and pups are looking a little bewildered but doing well. Dad (Pepper) is wondering exactly what these things are but he is already protective.
The last photo is the runt getting his weight checked while dad looks on. He is a whopping 3 ozs!

Congratulations!!
Congrats on your extended family! They look healthy and happy, and you can't ask for more than that. Scotties are so cute.
Your whelping bed is really interesting; is it a commercial one or did you make it? I ask because my husband has made the 4 we needed (at 10 yr intervals) and we may need one more, it would be lots easier to buy one than go through the construction process again. Yours looks lightweight, too; easier to move around.

I am embarrassed to admit that we bought the box. It is light weight and my wife assembled it when it arrived. Dorsey bought it from breederbase.com.

I am sitting here on "Puppy Watch" at the moment and just realized I haven't posted about the puppies in over a week.
Three puppies have survived the first week. It is incredibly sad to loose a puppy but it certainly does happen!
We have to watch them constantly so Dorsey and I are a bit sleep deprived but everyone is doing well.
The surprise is that the little runt is doing just fine! Dorsey has named him "Rambo" as he is a little fighter! he is half the weight of his brother and sister but he gets his way! I think my mother in law wants him.....
As this is an Airstream forum (please note I did post this in the "Off Topic" area) I thought I'd include an Airstream themed photo. Rambo is the pup in front.

Somehow I missed this thread! Congrats on the pups! By the way, nothing goes better with Airstreams than a trusty canine pal or three, so dogs are always on topic in my books.
