Need to be Camping

Dear Fellow New England Area friends-
We have had it, we need to get out on the road for the long Easter weekend and we are having a very difficult time finding anyplace open within a three hour drive of CT. Normally we can camp anywhere and be happy but we will be joined by friends with a wonderful young son so at least one day of something to do would be needed. So if anyone knows of a campground around the Eastern PA, CT, MA, Lower VT, NH area that is worth a three day stay please help!

Thanks-

I think the Mystic KOA, former Highland Orchards in North Stonington CT is open year round. You can visit all the sights in Mystic - aquarium, Mystic Seaport, casinos, subase - lots of tourist attractions. Certainly enough to do for a 3 day visit for the extended family.

Hi Mary-

Yes it is a great spot but we were just there in Oct. for the Lost Dutchman Rally. We may end up there again though if nothing else pops up!
