Need dimensions of Zip Dee Fold Away Chair

Hi,

Can anyone give me the folded dimensions of their Zip Dee chair? I called the company and the lady gave me one number that didn't make sense. And she didn't seem receptive to further questioning, lol.

I know that they are 2" thick. What about the other two dimensions?
Thanks!

Wow, she was right, then! How can it be only 23" high folded? Obviously I don't know how they fold up. There must be an extra pivot which folds that I'm not aware of. I'll have to look at the pictures more closely. When it's set up, do you sit close to the ground, like a beach chair?

OK, thanks! Yes, I see now that the rear legs fold in separately. That's a very clever design. We'll have to find one in person to see how comfy they are or are not for us. I sure hope they are comfy because the space utilization is wonderful.

ZipDee chairs come with the Classic models with the same patterned material of the awnings.

We replaced the useless cushion behind the curb side backrest of the dinette in the 25FB with a cabinet similar to that in the 27FB Classic to store our custom ordered ZipDee chairs with material to match our awnings. Click on the Airstream Registry link below my forum name to see the installation. The box in the picture has two ZipDee chairs in it.

A sheet of the matching brown and the matching white for the 2013 International Serenity model were ordered by the dealership from Airstream. The door handle was also ordered from Airstream to match the two across the aisle under the dinette and lounge seats.

Two whole sheets of formica? What did you do with the extra? Want to sell some for me to try the same thing?

The dealership had the opportunity to do the job twice. The first pair of ordered sheets may have been kept by the first carpenter and the second set was kept by the dealership since they had to redo the cabinet. The first go around was bad news. The second try is more acceptable. It definitely is not the same design as the version is a 27FB Classic, but accomplishes the same goals of ZipDee storage, getting rid of a huge useless cushion and providing a shelf right by the door to free a hand to open the door and a place to display decorative things when parked.
