Just to keep the insult hurling in the correct order, from post number one:

Life and death of a thread

OP: asks for opinion on best (thing)

#1: welcoming response. Warning of opinions to come. Encouraging salutation.

#2: welcoming response. Sharing of strongly held opinion. Encouraging salutation. Happy emoticon.

#3: sharing of strongly held opinion.

#4: sharing of strongly held opinion.

#5: sharing of strongly held opinion. Challenge of #3's opinion. Insertion of "brows" emoticon.

#6: sharing of strongly held opinion. Encourage trip to Canada.

#7: offer empirical evidence against Canadian solution.

#8: warn of legal liability for going against strongly held onion. Relate anecdote from authoritative friend/relative.

#9: request official citation for claim in #8.

#10: hurl insult at #9.

#11: blame China.

#12: insert hyperlink to authoritative PDF. Include parable supporting position.

#13: recommend getting back to OP. Note OP no longer seems to be involved in discussion. Warn of mod action.

#14: inject comment completely unrelated to discussion at hand.

#15: recommend each person decide for themselves. Wish happy camping.

#16: hurl insult at authors of replies 4-14.

#17: switch mod_hat=on: close thread

-Jim, I love the brows.

My understanding is that step one is to heat the grill. Step two is to catch a 4-6 lb trout. Since that section of the stream is catch and release, you must wade down past the control point to the open section. Or you could just go to the grocery and purchase the same weight of salmon. If so, reverse steps one and two. Step three is to wash and clean said fish. Step four can not be skipped, as the grill must be checked to determine it is at 300 degrees +/- 10%. Step five is to place the meat on the grill. Step six is to wait patiently for 10 minutes. Step seven is to turn the meat to the opposie side. Step eight is to add herbs and spice. A bit of wine is an option, but only if you have not consumed over half the bottle by this point in the process. Step nine is to check the meat and remove just prior to blackening as that has just been overdone on all the TV cooking shows. Step ten is to place meat on plate with lemon and green salad. Pair the meal with the remainder of the wine and consume with panache. What is your understanding of the process? Edit: Yes, a fishing license is required. Edit: No, you do not get a discount or extra credit for catching your own salmon as it must be farm raised. Edit: Prime beef may be substituted if you can get the purchase approved by local ranchers. You certainly did this perfectly, including the graphic opinion analog, and exceedingly clever use of onions. I fear we'll never get this shut down though it's been fun trying!

The china used to serve the trout and salad seems to have affected the flavor. Check off eleven, please. Edit: onions can be added at step eight as long as they are strongly held until addition to meat. Edit: opinions can be included at step nine. Edit: powerball numbers are 14, 7, 11, 15, 23, 1. Edit: Extra points for origin. Pat

We did have a good go at it, didn’t we? Woke up this morning, read the first few replies, and thought “Yes!!! Gentlemen, today is the day!” and then trout balls got involved somehow. Sounds delicious, and was very informative, but completely out of order. Anyways, loved the Christmas Story reference. One of my favorite movies...

Perhaps if we had discussed guns more? I know that on the shooting forums, a good 1911 vs Plastic Fantastic vs Revolver discussion will get shut down in a heartbeat. Lots of anger and name calling...

So I’ll leave you all with this, If it ain’t a wheel gun, it ain’t a real gun!

You left out "if you're carrying one please don't camp next to me". Will that work?

Now we’re getting somewhere!!! And if you’re riding on ST’s, without a ProPride/Hensley, please stay out of my state...

No, no, let’s just forget about it. Sure, it will start out great, then about 5 steps in, someone will muck it all up. I just don’t have the energy any longer...

-Red, a glass is half empty kind of guy...

I'm just bummed I missed the opportunity to turn my Powerball reference in to something more like Toeball or Powerballs or something. Gotta be quicker.

Yeah - gun talk could have helped...

Wait a tick - interrupting to express enjoyment of the thread wasn't even in the list! May have to reengineer this......

If you're going to join we need to at least know what tire pressure you use.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Since you asked, I have the latest version of Hershey flux capacitor and I love it. I have used thousands of miles without a single problem. It is so effective that while towing my MPG is right around 40, since the flux capacitor is allowing the AS to have its own power source and all I have to do is point the AS in the direction I want to go. The only down side it trying to keep the speed under 88mph so you will need to modify your solar brakes. I suggest you use Lewstar for this upgrade. Also Since you asked, I run my pressures at 80 which is what the manufacturer suggested. As for my lash up, I have had no issues with my onion balls, ever!!!!! Even while towing in Canada. Anyone not using this system is just flat wrong but of course that’s my opinion.
I hope you enjoy your new flux capacitor as much as I have.

Great thread. I don't know how I've missed it. It's 16 degrees here this morning. I needed a laugh.
On a much more serious note, you all need to check out the new F950. 20 cylinders of diesel power. I haven't had to touch the brake or the gas in 90,000 miles, with most of those miles at or above 12,000'. I switched over once I heard that they were making the flux capacitors in China.

Flux capacitors are really popular, something that’s trending with the AS herd. Problem is that they aren’t even made in this country, and folks who’ve had them very long are very frustrated with the lack of quality control. Hard to return something for service that ain’t even made round here.

They really are a luxury item in a world struggling with folks looking for good jobs and trying to make ends meet. Do you know how hard it is to keep up with payments on a nice AS for 30 years? Flux capacitor, scmucks capacitor... I’m sticking to the basics the way a Wally intended.

Besides, the environmental impacts of the flux capacitors is horrific. Not to mention the materials, energy, and overseas shipping involved, the 1.21 gigawatts are supplied by a plutonium-powered nuclear fission reactor that gets dumped in the local landfill after premature failure! Catastrophic, I’m staying clear of the states where this crap is being sold.

Just sayin’

Regards - Ron (slow on the uptake and 2 steps behind per usual, but with the correct 65 psi tire pressure.)

That’s WAAAAAY too much truck! You’ll vibrate your poor balls to death in that thing! A ball can only be banged around by such a stiff suspension for so long before it becomes lopsided and fails. I have to side with the flux capacitor crowd on this one...

-Red, once again glad to be a Floridian. 16 degrees... I ain’t doin’ it.
