Justification for AS Playtime

This just in, but we knew it all the time: Great article in no less than Psychology Today which says it is very good for us to play. Good thing -since all I want to do is work on our Airstream, or go running around the country pulling our Airstream. LOL

So see, playing around in an Airstream is good for our health! And we're playing as hard as we can!

I can't agree more! Our Bambi is waxed and next weekend, de winterized! So much work but I admit it was more playing than work! Were almost ready for our shakedown cruise April 1st!

How is someone supposed to get anything done at work when all one can think of is working on their airsteam???? If I spend to much time on here maybe I can get fired and then I will have all the time I need??? Maybe not a bad thing, unemployment??? Not sure if my wife will agree with this strategy.

5 years ago my wife and I BOTH suddenly had serious health issues at the same time. So serious that we were both in walkers and wheelchairs. We bought an Airstream. We couldn't take it anywhere during our recoveries BUT we could 'work' on it! 'Alumatherapy'.

Justification

One of this best "justifications" (if you really need one..I mean really) that I an think of...is that it is far more economical to go on an Airstream trip than it is to take a traditional vacation, even if gas if high at the time...no hotels, no airplanes, take you own food, cook your own meals, sleep in your own bed, pay lower rates at a campground or RV park than almost any hotel and certainly any resort...even if you end up in an RV "resort"...or pay nothing if you boondock in the right place, and potentially better views than most hotel rooms... plus you can take your pets... You can camp in a forest or visit family and friends, or escape to the beach ...and move on to a new location anytime you want! What could be better? And that's plenty of justification for us to put time into our Bambi... Also remember that "work" is a 4-letter word anyway.

i looked, but unfortunately couldn't find 'Alumatherapy' listed in any medical text.

what i really need is an Rx that reads:

' take one Airstream,
any size,
wherever, whenever,
as often as needed '

anyone know a good doctor?

Its working for me Doug. I just set my standards so high that its difficult to find an employer that lives up to them. And if I do they are usually willing to pay well.
