Inspector in St Louis Missouri?
Hi all looking for an inspector in St Louis Missouri. I see there is a WBCCI region chapter there also so an experienced set of Airstream eyes would work also.
And do you know of a local shop where I could get running gear checked to see if it's roadworthy to tow home.

Just FYI there is a good dealer in St Louis. Bill Thomas RV. They have been in business a long time.

I know Glenn Thomas pretty well on a social basis and my bro-in-law knows him really well. He runs the show now, as Bill is pretty much retired. Good folks. PM me if you need an intro.

I would be looking for a once over trailer inspection for road worthiness from that dealer. Thx for the recommendation.
Still looking for someone who could look at a trailer in St Louis Mo.

I called BT Trailers Sales in Wentzville very nice people. They passed on a mobile RV mechanics name so I will contact him to see if he does inspection or can at least be a set of eyes for us.

It's in a storage unit in Ballwin. That's 1500 miles from me.
I told him I needed to pass on buying it as I was not comfortable making an offer sight unseen.
Maybe not meant to be. I'm not over it yet but working on it.

I am hoping to get out that way again soon as I had looked at the Ambassador, and hoped that was the one you might have been looking at.
My trip was for work, although actually Airstream related. Unfortunately I too am on the other side of the state.

Sometimes when you can't make it work it just wasn't meant to be. There will be others (maybe).
Not like we don't have one. This one just spoke to me. But maybe it was saying "I want, I want, I want", instead of "this is great timing, good price and a good fit".
