I'm Sick and Need Professional Help

At a garage sale recently, I found this aluminum lawn chair and thought right away how great it would look all polished up with the cedar wood redone. Just finished up this morning.

Why is it I feel I need to polish everything associated with my vintage Airstream? I'm sick, I know.

I can think of worse ailments. That chair looks awesome! Although, I think it needs a matching mate to make it a pair.

I would love for it to have a mate. I'll keep looking.

Oh good, I'm not alone. I bought a vintage cooler at an antique mall last weekend, and before the day was over, I had hauled out the can of Mother's and a stack of microfiber cloths. I stopped polishing when it hurt to look directly at it in sunlight.

Nice chair, by the way!

What is wrong for you people? I have a good mind to invite you all over to dinner and leave a few jars of polish and some cloths next to my trailer and let nature take it's course

Awesome chair, BTW!

As addictions go you could have worse ones.

This one gives you excercise and doesn't hold the threat of jail and with some effort on your part it probably won't lead to divorce either.

Obviously you haven't been caught polishing your neighbor's LP tanks at 3 am...

Well, all I can say is that I hope that you used your Cyclo to do the polishing.

Brad,
I want to help...

I can have my Trade Wind parked in your side yard in about an hour. Go crazy and polish all you want. Maybe that would be the best therapy.

That's not good therapy at all. First of all, it would be outdoors and you know what its like out there. Second, mine is at the head of the line for another annual polishing, although its been 4 years. Third, yours looks just fine the way it is.

How about you come up to British Columbia? Bring your fly rods and polishing gear. You can help cure your illness on my trailer between hatches.

Hummmmm this is the worst outbreak of ALUMINITIS I have seen. I'm sorry I'm of no help cause I have it too. Everytime I get near that trailer I have the urge to work on it.
I just don't know.

The chair looks great! I too suffer from the disease. I just found out the rims on my Vespa are aluminum under the dull grey paint.....humm....they would look so gooood shineyyyy! My husband has told me to stop the insanity! (I still think they'd look better shiny!)
