You can start out with Tempest Search.com.it will search craigslist,it will start at the zip code you enter and go from there,you may get lucky. Dave

There is also one sitting in a scrap yard in Porterdale Ga., and he wants 800 for it. It is a Royal Mansion.

Until today, I did not know about the sites to search the entire craigslist at once. Very helpful!
Kevin, I would love a '53 or '54 Royal Mansion or Royal Manor. The layout would work well for us. And we love that they still have a porthole door! That said, we are looking at everything. There are so many configurations we never know what we will discover.
Brian, I would love more information for the two you know of in GA. Do you have contact info? Are there any photos available?

The one for 3000 is between loganville Ga and Snellville Ga. The guys last name is palmer. He buys all kinds of things then sells for a higher price. I checked it out and it was completely intact. It would need a great deal of elbow grease on the inside. I did not see any rot on the floor. The man is in his 70's and reupholsters furniture. That is about all I can tell you.
The one in Porterdale is at a scrap yard. I have driven buy it about 5 times. It would need to be gutted. The Mahogney paneling is rotted. The outside is in great shape. I did not go inside because he has it full of junk.
Another forum member (Jim and Susan) talked with the scrap yard man about it. Porterdale Ga has about three scrap yards. I would just do a yahoo yellow pages search and start calling.
I also saw one on Craiglist for 1500. It was a Royal Mansion. The guy already gutted most of it. He decided to get rid of it because his wife became pregnant and he had to focus on her. Go to Atlanta Craiglist, RV, and type in Spartan. There also is some nice airstreams up for sale. One is a 64.

I'm not sure what your intended use is, but be cautious with those 40' and longer trailers. They are not legal to tow as a travel trailer in some states.

I may have spotted a Spartan in a trailer park near Picton Ontario on the weekend. I noticed it as I drove by, the distinctive rounded Spartan nose with 3 windows wrapped around the front.
The park was closed and the gate locked for the winter so I could not get in for a closer look. Maybe I will be back that way in the summer and get some pictures.

About a week ago I saw a '55 Spartan for sale on Craigslist in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. It was partially gutted with no appliances, maybe 30' and the exterior looked nice. I can't recall the price but it didn't seem like they were asking too much. It came up when I did an Airstream search.
