So....
A couple weeks ago we get a threatening note, handwritten in our mailbox.
Turned over to PD.
This weekend we received a call from a neighbor while we were away. Seems someone came by and vandalized my home and they saw the vehicle but did not think it was a problem until they realized what was done.
PD called, took info....yawn... Nothing to do. Hmmm
So we may need motion targeting.

Yup, Chief,... Working with detectives to make it a matter of "public record". 
Here in our burg there have been a lot of indications folks are out of rope and losing grip. A couple suicides by cop in a week and this and other things.

We live in a rural area of Texas and had been broken into 5 times over 15 years buy the same guy and his wife accomplice. Caught twice, prison and paroled. We installed cameras, put posted signs around our fenced acreage. Put signs on all doors and windows that I will shoot. Conceal carry. The last time I saw the guy walking down our road I walked out to him, pulled my gun and told him that if I ever saw him anywhere near our property he would not walk away, there would be no ambulance. Have not had a break-in since. Last I heard of him he was in the state pen for good... As well, we spread the word around that we would not tolerate this behavior, cops, judges, city council, everyone we could think of. In the end you have to protect your self proactively aince everything else is after the fact.

We live on family property... about 90 acres all together. We live on the back 40. Couple of rentals, one is occupied by an active sheriff deputy/detective another by a retired SBI/former Army Ranger. We had a few problems a while back. Word got around real quick that there are some heavily armed crazy people that live down the dirt road. Don't NOBODY come around any more. 
We also have a variety of cameras, sensors and alarm systems.

I thought the big cities were dangerous. Never understood why someone would threaten you before they act, gives you to much time to prepare. Best of luck stay safe.

I am just wondering....did you move to the Round Rock area from California? There seems to be a culture clash in the Austin area.

I have had gotten better quality stuff from ebay than supercircuits. They do have nice catalogs.

That would make me really mad. It is absurd you have to endure this type of treatment in our country. I truly hope the ones responsible are caught an dealt with with, without any harm to property or persons.
