Guess What Day It Is!
Yesterday at 2:30 p.m. I finished up my career in journalism, corporate and religious communications.
Olga and i are looking forward to being able to see more of America with her Airstream, which I will continue to tow very carefully, trying to keep scratches and dents to a minimum.
I am fortunate to have her as my spouse and best friend for the last 42 years and we are looking forward to new adventures.
We have two trips planned for the fall to see our boys, one to Kentucky and one to Denver.
We will be wearing out our America The Beautiful Pass, exploring more of the State Parks here in Texas and neighboring environs and will be ditching the interstates wherever possible to take life in the slow lane.
Will I work again? Who knows but it's time for a second act so who knows where the road will lead us.
All I know is that it has been great to be a part of this community for the last 6 years and I look forward to meeting many of the folks I have gotten to know on these threads somewhere down the road.
