Hope things get better..here...there mainly everywhere.

Life is to small to sweat the small stuff, but there are times when standing up for you know is Right will make you a better man. Eventhough people want to keep the truth hidden and especially..don't want to make waves. Things are done out there in the real world that people don't want or like to face,....but no matter what..it's still there no matter your or their beliefs.

Close it...delete it.ban it....no matter what it's still gonna be there.Maybe not in writing, but it's still there

blmitch, I have a sneaking suspicion that this might have to do with a couple of threads that were started not long ago. One dealt with people who chose to carry weapons as they camped and the other one was a thread that was directed by those who chose not to carry.

Since these have both vanished, I am guessing that Pill might be referring to these in a quite oblique fashion.

Again, this is just a thought. I might be totally wrong in which case, I don't have a clue about the original comments found here.

I believe it boils down to a maturity thing.

Some can't be adults and listen to others views without imposing their BELIEFS, which are not necessary. Like I said, all about Maturity.

Guys,

We have a set of very clear Community Rules (link). Some hot topics cause members to violate some of our rules and when spiral down that direction we have to take action. Although your feedback on how to run the community is appreciated please remember we try our hardest to foster a community where people from all ends of the spectrum feel welcome. That means that some controversial topics will be closed before they cause polarization of our members based on their position in the topic. It's just a byproduct because we have to find a medium ground that's not a PITA to manage.

I am going to close this thread because everyone does not have all the background on why it was started.
