Gift for RV owners?

A very nice couple has agreed to show us their trailer tomorrow (not to buy their trailer, just to show us that model we're looking at). I feel like we should give them a thank-you gift. I've read about people giving a bottle of wine, or a gift card to a local restaurant.

Has anyone here ever given (or received) a gift for showing an RV?

Gift card would be most appropriate.

Not everyone drinks wine....*

* no, really. There are a lot of folks that don’t consume alcoholic beverages, caffeine, and the like. I’ve run headlong into this situation and been totally embarrassed.

Maybe meet them and get the tour, then decide what [if any] gift to send? A gift card later via email or USPS mail would work fine IMO. Showing up with a gift could be seen as a slight, or insult, if they are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. [IMO]

Good points, Rich.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions (except maybe Mike )

We'll see how it goes. We have their address, we can always mail them a gift later.

I think a nice thank you note is really all the thanks that is needed.

We campers are nice people!

If you feel you really want to add to that, I would say an amazon gift card or local grocer gift card would be appreciated. You can note that they could use it for something for their rig.
