Front door camping

We couldn't take anymore of the rally news, so we set up our own, with just the dogs and our pathetic margarita ball in the shape of a wine bottle...

We do the same thing. Here is Lucy all set up in her own private campground in Daddy's yard in Jacksonville. As long as sleep in her, it's still camping, right?

Leaving camp.....Home

Here we are ready to LEAVE from our home to go camping. We have had freinds ask "Why do you have a camper? You can camp right here in your yard!" We have no answer....can you tell us a good one?

As politely as possible I'd tell them that it is not just a camper -- it's an Airstream -- and Airstream's need to be on the road.

My front door today. 2/28.

Yes, this is my Front Door camp site today. However, I shall take the 20 steps back into our home and to the front of the fireplace.
Neil an Lynn.

If we were under Oath we'd all have to admit that we have driveway camped more than once.

Sometimes our houses get to small. When that happens we escape to the A/S where serenity and relaxation run rampant.

So true! There's something about that silver decompression chamber that really works. We go out just to get that 'pod feeling' even when the house is perfectly welcoming and uncrowded. It's simply a great, comfy environ, and it gives us a little escape fix where we really feel removed from life's complexities for awhile...

...and it's so warm and cozy.

My heater works great.

I'm tempted to head out to the driveway right now!
