Favorite Music Source?

My wife has a portable XM radio. We are going to use the portable speakers as our outside music source along with my iPod (with the Altec Lansing speakers). We have the Sony CD/Radio in our Bambi and will be able to plug both into it to listen inside using the installed speakers.

Anybody come up with a creative external speaker set up?

A buddy of mine installed a "box" that enables him to plug in some external speakers to listen to music outside.

I use the Cambridge Soundworks XM portable unit outside. Although the unit is quite heavy it is hard to call it portable the sound is fantastic.

I'm not sure that'll work directly with your iPod. See this.

I have an RF iPOD transmitter for my truck. There are always competing radio stations, it's a lot of bother and fairly fuzzy. I'd sure not want to use that in the quieter environment inside the Airstream.
