Enkay Rock Tamers

If you've been considering getting a set I was just in Cabela's in Buda, TX and they have these on sale for $159.99 which is 40 bucks off the reg price. The sale ends March 29 and the sales circular I looked at said prices in it were good in Buda only so don't know if you can get this price at other locations. I've been using these for years and have mixed feelings about their performance as they did not keep my Casita or Airstream from picking up some nicks on the front so I definitely am not recommending them. But from others I've talked to they had a different experience. For info only.

I have both the Enkays and also a set of good mudflaps. Without the mudflaps there is still room for some projectiles to fly off the tires.

With mudflaps alone, there is also still the possibility of projectiles hitting the front of the RV. With both, I have been down many a gravel road and have net to have a rock ding from stones thrown up by the tires. Both the Enkay and the mudflaps have marks where mud and such have hit them both, but no the front of the trailer. I would suggest the combo to anyone out there.

Have Rock Tamers and would highly recommend them... they are used with the mudflaps also ... Costalotta was painted last July and we have travelled over 6000 miles since then and have no chips or marks in the paint at the front...
